MESSAGE FROM THE COUNCIL PRESIDENT

"On behalf of the Batavia City Council, I would like to welcome you to our City. Batavia has a lot to offer our residents. Batavia has a small town atmosphere with larger city amenities. We have undergone several reconstruction projects and we are continuing this rebirth with projects on Walnut and Ellicott Streets this year. The city offers several year round community celebrations and festivals that you are welcome to attend to get a taste of what Batavia has to offer. Batavia’s wealth of service organizations work very had to help keep the cities sense of community. Batavia’s Muckdogs baseball team is a charter member of the NY Penn League and continues to be a source of pride for our community. Batavia was the birthplace of Western New York and we have a bright future ahead."
